Cardio X
Hooray for baby steps, made it through day 2. Is it some kind of rule that when you are working out that you want to punch the instructor in the face. I have such a love/hate relationship with Tony. (Yes, we are on a first name basis, although, I doubt he knows that.) His bouncing off the walls energy is rather annoying when you are dragging arse just to be there in the first place. But whatever, I made it.
Cardio X is by far my favorite, although, like the Squat Run yesterday, most of today was done in slow motion. I really like the four different videos put into short segments. I nearly took myself out during the Swing Kicks because about ten seconds into it, my legs decide not lift more than two feet off the ground. So I put the chair away. I ended up flailing may arms around in an attempt to do the, Jab, Cross, Hook, Uppercut. I was able to do them, just not in the right order nor with the correct arms. It was also awesome that the people in the video did about three to my every one attempt in almost all the exercises. Something to strive for I guess. WTF are Wacky Jacks anyway, I am completely spastic when it comes to them and while they look so easy, could not for the life of me do them as fast as the video. To add to the self deprecation, I cannot do the stupid quad stretch without assistance. I have to put my leg up on the arm of my couch to grab it. OMG, seriously? Seriously! How out of shape are you when you can't even do the warm up? Another day to cross of the list! 88 days to go!
