Day 3 (aka Wimpy, Wimpy, Wimpy)

Ab Ripper X


Yeah, that's right, day 3. Woot! Woot! Ok, I shouldn't be so proud since I really did as little as possible. I picked light weights and skipped the bonus round at the end of the video, which I could have done. I really wimped out with the Ab Ripper X. I did all the exercises, but not for the full time. There was really no pushing myself today. On the plus side, I have more energy already which is amazing, I didn't think it would happen so soon.

I think it is a bad sign when the warm up poops you out before you even start. I thought my arms were on fire when I was doing the arm rolls. Amazed that I could do any chair dips, although, I did only three for each set with my legs bent. Overall not a bad day in all of my awkward glory. I really do not enjoy lifting weights as much as the cardio days. It just drags and then doing abs on top of it makes it go even slower. But boo-hoo for me, right?

The weight better start dropping soon as my stupid sports bra is about a size too small for my fat arse and I am too cheap to go buy a new one. Also need to expand my wardrobe to more than my U of M sweatshirt. At least I am wearing jeans. I went through a period a few years back where I wore warm ups all the time. Who knew that was the worst idea ever? I gained a gazillion pounds? How is that possible? Maybe wearing pants that have a stretchy waist is not bright. Hoping for new clothes in my future! Or at least fitting comfortably back into my old ones! 87 days to go!
