Day 6 - Sweat Stings Your Eyes

I am not going to mark today as a win. Although, it is my second round with the Plyometric Cardio Circuit, I am not any more graceful than I was the first time. I will say that I managed to do more of the exercises than last time and lasted much longer than I did the first time. What I keep forgetting is a frickin towel. I have never in my life sweat as much as I do with the Insanity videos and my face was dripping today. My little improvements are not encouraging that I will make it all the way through at the end of the first month, let alone switch to the the Max version, which is quite daunting when I think about it.

The warm-up is getting, I wouldn't say easier, but I would say my body is starting to adapt to the fact that I need to breathe through the whole thing. I only stopped a few times to catch my breath. Also, for anyone else that has done or is doing this video, I laugh my ass off when the third circuit comes up, since we are supposed to go faster with each round. By the third, the people look like they are on crack. I would say form is not important since people in the video skip steps or I am just not seeing their lightening fast moves. I am still moving at the same pace as a turtle, but gaining momentum with each day.

The stretch is getting better for me, but I do wish it were longer. The first circuit was not bad. And what the hell are Switch Feet. It is the most awkward move ever, I feel like I am in some 80's video game and stuck trying to walk in place. I still pace a lot in this video especially when I hit the Level 1 Drills, I just have not gotten there yet. I cannot even do a regular push up, but maybe by the end I will be able to. Ski Abs were not bad the first time, but when I did the second...I never made it back from the jump to my right and ended up rolling over and stared at the ceiling. Most would take it as a win, since I was not able really even do the Ski Abs the first time. I, however, did not feel much like a winner while staring at the ceiling.

So today was a rough day, but I managed to tough it out. Week 1 is officially done! Tomorrow is my day off and I am so excited for it!
